CMAS Filing - February 2008
Filed comments in response to FCC Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding the Commercial Mobile Alert System Docket No. 02-857. Federal Communications Commission: Washington, DC, 4, February 2008. The comments specifically addressed recommendations on expediting the availability of the CMAS to the American public; ways to encourage wireless carriers’ participation in CMAS; and ensuring that the elderly and people with disabilities are included in any planning for emergency alerting systems.
