RERC Participates in GT Disability and Diversity Day

RERC Co-Director, Mike Jones, and Operations Manager, Lynzee Head, represented the Wireless RERC at the Georgia Tech Disability and Diversity Day Adaptive Technology Fair on November 5, 2007.  The RERC was one of several Georgia Tech organizations highlighting its research, development, and services related to adaptive technology.  Disability and Diversity Week, held each Fall, is designed to promote heightened awareness, acceptance, and understanding of persons with diverse backgrounds and persons with disabilities within the Georgia Tech community. Additional events include a kick off event in collaboration with the Biomedical Engineering / Masters Program in Prosthetics and Orthodontics, speakers, town halls, and a movie with a disability/ diversity-related theme.
