Survey of User Needs

A survey to help us understand how people with disabilities use wireless products like cell phones and text messengers.

Welcome!

This Survey of User Needs is about wireless products like cell phones and text messengers. The purpose of the survey is to learn about how people with disabilities use these products. It's also to learn about why some people with disabilities don't use these products. This information helps make wireless products easier to use for people of all ages and abilities. Since 2001 more than 3000 people with disabilities have taken this survey. THANK YOU for joining this group.

Parts 1 and 2 of the survey ask about you, your abilities, and any assistive technology you use.

Parts 3 and 4 ask about wireless products, how usable they are, and which features and functions are most important to you. Please complete these parts, even if you don't use any wireless products.

Part 5 is an invitation to join our Consumer Advisory Network of more than 1000 people across the country. Consumer Advisors have opportunities to participate in projects such as focus groups and testing of wireless products.

Your personal information will not be sold or used in any way other than for research related to this survey.

Please try your best to complete all parts of the survey and answer all questions. Your answers are important to us, even if you're not using wireless products now.
